These are a few of my favourite things!

Spring in your step!

Spring is my absolute favourite time of year; winter is always such a long slog isn’t it? I get so excited when I start to see daffodils, blue skies and the sun! It also usually means a bit of a splurge is in order to freshen up my home with some Easter decorations and spring-like accessories.

Here are some of my top picks for bringing that fresh, spring feeling into your home – whether it’s some Easter bunting or something more subtle.

First up are these lovely Easter cards from Rifle Paper Co:

I love the gold and pink combination and the little bunnies in the other card are super cute.  These cards from Lagom’s amazing range of stationery are brilliant too:

Continuing on the Easter theme, here are some items from Meri Meri’s latest range. The crackers would instantly transform your table and would be perfect for a family lunch. The bunting is just adorable and is a super easy and inexpensive way to add a special touch to your home.

Something as simple as yellow striped straws or a few little chicks scattered across the table or popped on top of a homemade cake can help you achieve that spring feeling! Both available at John Lewis

Or maybe a vintage milk glass egg cup is more your thing? Yes, please! Have a search on eBay or Etsy for something similar.

This little wooden rabbit from new Danish design company OYOY is pretty special too:

oyoy_rabbitThe new IKEA PS range is amazing and includes this vase set which is perfect for some spring blooms or this polka dot wall clock, which would add a bit of fun to a room:

My final pick is this rather fetching swan vase from Graham & Green is also a great item and would be perfect for planting a little spring bulb:
