Here a few things that have recently caught my eye…
I have been on the look out for some cushions for my new sofa and love the new colour combination on this Donna Wilson Hofdi cushion. Olive green and grey are one of my favourite colour combinations; I think they work so well together. The cushion is made from 100% lambswool, so it will be super cosy on winter evenings, curled up on the sofa.
These coasters are channelling a fun, 1950s vibe and will bring a bit of style to cocktail hour at home! The ceramic coasters were designed by Carly Dodsley, designer in residence at Royal Stafford Potteries, and are part of Design Nation’s range at the Southbank Centre, which showcases the best of UK ceramics and glass.
I have a bit of a thing for wooden birds and love this Pelican by Lucie Klaas. It was originally designed in the 1950s by Gunnar Flørning and has recently been reproduced along with some other designs. This little guy would be the perfect accompaniment to my Sparrow which is also from the Lucie Klaas range. Both are available at Skandium.
I am a complete stationery addict and love sending cards and letters. This vintage airmail set from Pedlars is amazing! I love the 1950s design and packaging. This is a cute idea for lovers of jigsaws, Pop Art or both – a jigsaw in a Campbell’s Soup tin! The perfect solution for a rainy day… and it will look good sitting on a shelf! The jigsaw itself is made from 90% recycled material and is available to buy at Hus & Hem.
Last but by no means least are these Brooklyn pizza plates by West Elm. I got them a while ago but just had to include them because I like them so much. I love the typography and simple red stripes, which remind me of a 1950s diner. Much better than eating pizza out of a box!
Coming soon – my top picks for all things Christmas, yes Christmas!
