These are a few of my favourite things!

Home sweet home

I was so excited to hear, earlier in the year, that I had been chosen to feature in the new Orla Kiely book, Home! I’m a huge fan of Orla’s work and spent last week leafing though it – what a book!

The book features Orla’s recently rennovated house in London (which is amazing!) and her homeware collections. It’s a great insight into Orla’s inspiration and how that translates into her patterns, colour choices and product design.

The book also includes a fantastic selection of wonderful case studies of mid century homes in the UK, Ireland and Scandanavia. The photography is stunning – I would love to visit each and every home to find inspiration of my own!

If you flick through the book to pages 46 and 47, you will see some homes featuring Orla’s products – this is where I come in! I have five photographs in the book which hopefully demonstrate how I combine Orla’s homeware ranges with my own style.

I love to mix up vintage mid century pieces with Scandanavian design and I’m always on the look out for something a little bit quirky that will bring a bit of fun and personality to my home.

My photos are: page 46 top left, bottom left, top right and page 47 middle photo top row and bottom right.

The book has now hit the shops and you can buy it at Orla Kiely or Octopus Books
